Sue Muehlbach, Manager, Sales Training and Development for

3D Virtual Learning Symposium
The Internet has entered the
third-dimension—3D online virtual
worlds, such as Second Life, are changing the
way people learn in universities, businesses, and
their homes. Fortune 500 companies like Cisco, IBM,
and Dell are using avatar-mediated online worlds to
communicate with customers and build immersive,
interactive learning for employees.
Join Tony O'Driscoll, former researcher at IBM,
and learn how you can use online digital worlds as
platforms for learning—and fundamentally transform
how your learners interact.
The 3D Virtual Learning Symposium will help you
understand both the basics of 3D Internet technology,
and the details—how to conceive of, finance,
develop, deploy, and demonstrate value for 3D
Learning. In this Symposium, you will learn to:
• Understand how 3D Internet (3Di) differs from
previous e-learning technologies, and how it will
evolve and mature over the coming years.
• Apply 3Di to enhance experiential and peer-to-peer
learning (and where this is being done today).
• Build a case to invest in 3D Learning.
• Find a partner/vendor, and what considerations to
look for.
• Demonstrate value for the 3D Learning investment.
If you have been exposed to the 3D Internet (3Di)
hype, but you are not sure what to do about it, this
intensive and immersive program is for you! |
